What to do before Allergy Testing?

At our Centre for ENT, Allergy & Snoring Center, a detailed medical history is taken to provide an overview of the symptoms affecting the individual. This is followed by examination of the ENT, eye, lungs and skin.

Nasal endoscopy may be performed to exclude other nasal conditions. Allergy tests (inhalant & food) are performed to determine the allergens.

Patients should avoid medications such as antihistamine, cough and flu medicine one week prior to the appointment so as not to interfere with allergy testing.
